There Are So Many Reasons to Lose Weight

I was thinking the other day to myself (while enjoying a pint of beer of course) what reason do I have to lose weight. My wife has been after me for a long time to do it and I know I should but I could never motivate myself. I was really hoping that if I made a list it would give me the motivation I needed to actually do something about my weight for the first time since I played high school football. Right now I weight in at 310lbs and should really be under 200lbs... but here's why...


Reason 1 - My Baby Girl

My baby girl is my whole life. I love her so much and can't imagine not being around for her. I'd like to be able to play with her with more than 10 minutes without losing my breath. I want to be around to see her graduate high school and get married.


Reason 2 - My Wife

My wife wants me to lose weight so I guess just making her happy is motivation enough, but there are more reasons than that. I want to be able to grow old with her. I want her to be able to brag to her friends how hot I am! lol


Reason 3 - My Health

I guess this one sort of spills over into the other reasons I want to lose weight, but my health in general is a big reason to lose weight. My father (who made me look skinny) died at the age of 60 of a heart attack. I love my father, and always wanted to be more like him, but that is one accomplishment I'd prefer not to follow. I know that if I don't lose weight then I probably will end up in the same boat as him.
